Our Chief Executive Officer’s 2018 message

With the year now in full swing, I welcome you all back to another year full of opportunities for Enviropacific and our people.

I’m pleased to say that Enviropacific is in a sound position with signs of continuing strong growth ahead. We have a lot of work in the pipeline, which will see us achieving a 40% increase in revenue from financial year 2017, and we are on track to achieve our FY18 budget. Also, our order book for the next two years is healthy; including the Barangaroo ex situ remediation project in Sydney, the Fitzroy Gasworks in Melbourne (preferred tenderer status) and operation of our SOLVE facility in Altona.

This is a great position to be in as we continue to build our business and maintain our leadership in the market.

Here’s an update on some key initiatives:

  • Brand
We are in the process of progressively rebranding the business from Enviropacific Services, as we’ve been known for the last few years, to simply Enviropacific. This reflects the continued evolution of the business into Australia’s leading environmental engineering company. The change will be subtle – the corporate colours and font will remain the same.
  • Restructure
We are in the process of renaming the Petroleum division to the more appropriate ‘Fuel Facilities’; incorporating the Cadway, Retail Petroleum and Defence/Industrial operations. Whilst consolidating our position in the retail fuel sector, we see expansion opportunities in our Defence/Industrial offering and the development of our Cadway service.

In the Remediation division our key focus areas are the strategic initiatives in the treatment of PFAS, Water and SOLVE (thermal) markets. We are building a national support in technical services, bid management and delivery for Major Projects. Regional execution and P&L responsibility is maintained under Branch Managers for Qld/NT, NSW, and Vic/Tas/SA.

These efforts will see us expanding our existing activities in Victoria and Queensland, expanding our Defence sector offering, and bringing the SOLVE Altona (Melbourne) facility online. The facility is already generating much interest in the market place. An exciting accomplishment by the team.

  • Head office
We will soon be moving to our new corporate headquarters in Macquarie Park, in Sydney’s north west. It is a more suitable space and location. We expect to move in May this year, but will keep you posted.
  • Communications
We will be upgrading our website and pursuing increased media exposure to build our reputation and position the business with key external stakeholders and potential customers. We hope you are following us on our social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We have now opened an Instagram account to better engage with our stakeholders and show them images and short videos of some of the amazing work we do. I urge you to follow us to keep up to date with what we’re doing to create safer, healthier communities.

Thank you for your ongoing support. I look forward to working together as we continue Enviropacific’s mission; to prevent, stop and reverse environmental damage around the country.
