Occupational Hygienist – 12 month contract
We are industry leaders in site remediation, industrial waste management and petrochemical services. We offer a diverse range of treatment services and technologies across contaminated soil and water, including thermal treatment of soil, hazardous waste treatment and waste to commodity processes.
Enviropacific Services has been in business for 11 years, with offices in Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. We currently employ in excess of 130 staff comprising of Engineers, Scientists and Field Staff specialising in contaminated site remediation and fuel infrastructure projects.
We are looking for an Occupational Hygienist who is keen to develop their career by taking an active involvement in our projects and the development of our business in this rapidly expanding marketplace.
About the Role:
The position offered is a 12 month contract specific to the Enviropacific Point Cook Remediation Project with potential for an ongoing role at the completion of the Project. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Project Manger. The role will initially be based in the Enviropacific Rowville Office however, the bulk of the contract will be based on Site in Point Cook.
Your duties will include:
- Prepare, maintain, implement and update a Project Occupational Monitoring Plan
- Undertake occupational monitoring in accordance with the Occupational Monitoring Plan associated with:
- Operation of treatment plant for contaminated soils
- Water Treatment Plant operation
- Personnel entry to confined spaces
- Asbestos removal works
- General Site works
- Plan, implement and verify health controls, carry out periodic audits of work areas to track changes, as well as maintaining workplace programs for specific hazards (such as respiratory protection and hearing conservation)
- Monitor compliance with OHS legislation enforcing safe work practices
- Maintain Project OH&S records
- Provide OH&S support to the Project Manager and Site Engineers
As the successful candidate, you will have the following attributes:
- Bachelor degree level qualification in OHS, Health Science, Occupational Hygiene or closely related field
- Good understanding of work health and safety legislation, codes of practice and implementation;
- Associate or provisional member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) is desirable but not essential;
- Qualifications and experience in OH&S Management are desirable
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Keen attention to detail.
- Experience in contaminated land remediation works including occupational air monitoring (VOCs and asbestos)
- Take a hands on approach on site
- Excellent communication skills

PROJECT MANAGER – Civil / Environmental
Contaminated Site Remediation

We are looking for a similarly focused Project Manager to develop their career by taking an active involvement in our projects and the development of our business in this rapidly expanding industrial hub.
This position will be based out of our Perth Office and will be responsible for professionally managing all or various aspects of projects from award of contract through to design, manufacturer, construction and commissioning. Other responsibilities include minimising time constraints and maximising profit consistent with maintaining good client relationships, company safety standards and ensuring high quality control.
The essential criteria for this position;
• Demonstrated track record in the successful management of projects.
• Contract management experience.
• At least 2 years experience in the environmental or civil industry
• Detailed understanding of Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality management systems.
• Understanding of the requirements of working within hazardous locations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Drivers licence
Tendering experience will be highly regarded.

SITE SUPERVISOR – Civil / Environmental

This position will be based out of our Perth Office and will be responsible for the professional oversight of all aspects of projects
About the Role:
Reporting to the State and Project Managers, you will be involved in the Supervision of a range of unique projects.
Your duties will include:
- Efficient planning and co-ordination of works
- Enforcing safe work practices
- Directing employees, subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensuring that personnel are adequately trained and supported
- Monitoring progress to meet budget and targets
- Ensuring that OHS&E requirements are met
- Approving purchases
As the successful candidate, you will have the following attributes:
- Extensive construction experience, specialising in Civil and or Petrochemical / Remediation
- A proven ability to undertake the role of Supervisor
- Successful delivery of time and budget requirements for both high and low value dollar projects
- Strong people management skills
- An in depth understanding of construction costs and a proven ability in successful delivery of projects
- Take a hands on approach on site
- Excellent communication skills
Trade or engineering degree qualifications, Plant operating experience will be also looked upon favourably.
